  • 2x monthly field trips aboard a Camp Scene bus on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays to local nature destinations for science and nature programming, led by rangers and expert naturalists
  • Supplemental curriculum led by experienced Camp Scene environmental educators from the homeschool community
  • Drop-off at 9 a.m. and pick up at 1 p.m.
  • Convenient City of Decatur location, near Avondale Marta station
  • The semester cost for 2017 is $290 for 8 sessions. A 10% sibling discount is offered on the second or more enrollment  
The enjoyable, immersive educational homeschool experience, which is aligned to Georgia’s life science standards and benchmarks for grades K-5, helps motivate learners to self-discovery. Every session’s overarching theme is reinforced through daily essential questions, field studies or naturalist programs on location, engaging activities and experiments, visual and interactive teaching materials and inspiring discussions emphasizing peer cooperation. ​Our Spring program focuses on the biodiversity of life and interdependence of nature. We will investigate various habitats firsthand and observe a variety of native plants and animals of Georgia, collecting information that can be expanded with at-home projects. Learn more about how to enroll on our Parent Dashboard page.
